The most fun week ever.

As time reaches out to bid adieu to another eventful week , it does pretty obviously seem that this has been the most eventful week for me and most 11A students. Monday went off quietly with a practical exam which led us to 4 periods of literal time killing. Barring it there was nothing to talk about Monday. Tuesday went off too with no march past , and in the process granting us with 2 chemistry and physics periods. Wednesday , hmmm.... I was absent to school. I heard a lot about the great arguement about infinity with Suresh sir. It seems 11A had 2 periods of no useful work. Rakesh , I heard , took care of the proceedings by putting KSS and his axioms in a mess. I recieved 2 SMS'es from Vikku from school asking me for some arguements about infinity but my messages didn't reach him. Today, I heard he was going to continue the arguement and as soon as the spark lit in the form of Divya being asked to read out something from a piece of paper. Following that, I put forward my arguements only to listen to the bell going off in quite sometime and we accepted what he wanted to make us understand. Then we had the staff event during lunch and led us to have some fun for sometime. We had no proper period today due to regular calls for medical check up. Our C++ marks rocked with an average of 5 in the 20 odd books corrected, with only Shridhar, Srikanth ,Rakesh and someone else passing as of now.Things are going great as of now but I think the everyone's in for a big shock in the Quarterly . We'll come to know in the course of time. Anyway, ppl , keep blogging even if you'll aren't as vetti as me.
luv n regards,

Practical-o-phobia

Ah, at last, the herbarium is done. And the plants have been nicely stuck to paper, their botanical names researched and habitats analyzed. Now all I need to do, is to sit and write about 5 more experiments in bio observation and record each and then learn the whole damn 60 pages BY HEART

Life sucks and then you die

Why aint I dead yet then?

For one, today is not exactly going my way. The only positive thing about the whole day being the arrival of my friend Ish.

This ones for VV - The list of my favourite teachers, not in the same order

1. Subhashini maam - Not many people really know about her, but she has taught us for 3 years and I think she is a brilliant teacher, who make even lessons like Ode to the West Wind sound really interesting. And also shes a great class teacher, a little strict perhaps but really nice altogether. Like, when I had a drop in potassium level sometime back, she actually called me up and asked me if I was better and whether she should pack extra lunches for me, in case my parents werent in town

2. Revathy Iyer maam - I think she is probably one of the best teachers PS has ever had. Extremely vivacious and sprouting information about non related subjects making the class very enjoyable, its a pity that she had to leave. We had her for English in 8th std, and I think it was superb. Especially the standard " A- double S "... The debates we had in class remain fresh in my mind as it were yesterday

3. JK maam - It sounds almost too trivial, but she really was a saint. After having other maths teachers, we realize her importance. I might as well as go fall at her feet. Epitome of patience. Especially having Valliappan and Arun Prashanth in the class, never once did she lose her cool, and would explain the concept for the 100th time, if the student hadnt understood. It was real thanks to her that I scored a 98 in my boards

4.Gurumoorthy Sir - He is simply the best in physics. Class used to be so much fun, and so much worthwhile. We had him for 3 years and they were simply superb. He had absolute class control and at the same time there never was a dull moment in class when he was with us. Though he still takes practicals for us, he is one teacher I really miss.

5. Vasanthakumari maam, Shylaja maam, Meenakshi maam and Saraswathy maam - Though they have never taught me directly they are some of the few teachers who always have a smile for the students, be it anywhere. A greeting never goes unreturned with them, and for this they are really appreciated.

Well, there are other teachers like Kunjalata maam, Chitra maam etc who have been really nice teachers, not academically alone but cool teachers too. But I guess thats all there is to it.

If I could write about teachers from other schools too, then this list will never end. So adios now... The Bio book awaits ..................................

Great post !!

Vikku's post was one of the best among the last few ones. Tributes to teachers and insults to some are very important in one's life. Anyway, now that Vikku has started a trend, I'm treading on the same path. Here goes my list of 10 favourite teachers and ten worst ones(many common ones. might get borin. jus forgive me if it does.)
Here goes,
Best of my teachers so far
1. Saraswathi miss: One of the best. She was my class teacher in the eighth and didn't teach me later. But was of great support. You don't get such great teachers very often.A dedicated woman and a person who dedicated budding careers as a journalist , dancer , singer etc etc.(was a gold medalist when she did her journalism actually)
2. Revathy Iyer miss: Man , wasn't she cool. She didn't teach. On the contrary she made us learn , that too with total interest in a subject which was Greek and Latin to us. I even spoke to her o'er the phone the day before yesterday and told her atleast thrice that I missed her at PS. Her presence is something unmatched along the middle department staff room and now the whole place barring her is more like Amaravati without Indra. She was one who took practicals in a Social Science class & she is one teacher whom all her students won't forget for life.
3.Vijaya Madhavan: She simply rocked. No one could have understood me better . She was easily the best English teacher who taught me. She was one of those teachers who would have discipline and at the same time wishes of the students at mind.
4.Kamakshi miss: My first class teacher at PS .Made me comfortable here, and was extremely influential in humbling me. She reduced my arrogance by leaps and bounds. She taught me the hard way of life. Her presence used to be one of the most scaring things on earth. Now I do realise that all she did was for shaping my character , and after all she is one of those very few primary teachers who still asks me how I am whenever I pass by her.
5.Jamuna miss: She was my best ever maths teacher (equal to Shantha miss). One year with her, and an everlasting student teacher bond was formed. She just loves me. Generally students tend to get closer to teachers through their children but in this case, I got close to Jeyenth through Jamuna miss.Hadn't she on special request allowed me to write the maths talent test in class 6 , and then coz of my performance there, taken me into the enrichment classes, I wouldn't have been an Olympian today.
6.Shantha miss: 3 years. She was my maths teacher in the 3 main years of my life. She taught me knowing things isn't the only thing in life. There are far more inportant things. She was a teacher who was very influential in making me give respect to the school's way of functioning. Great teacher.
7.Sundari miss: The best ever chemistry teacher. She rockd. Its a curse to be with andi after her.She taught great ,made me enjoi chem!! Missin you ma'am.
8.Jayanthi miss: She was awesome.Gr888 teacher. 3 .5 years with her. So she got to know us really well .She was the best.Be it how jolly to be when something was taught, or for vetti arattai , kuthu. One of those teachers who played full fledged antakshari with us on an excursion.
9.Ramamurthi sir: But for him , my state at class 11 would be stinking. His "value"'s and " " could get borin at times but no one like him .He's the best.
10.Indirabai miss: She taught values more than she taught maths. She was kinda partial towards her own classes but that didn't matter for me. She did something really useful for me, (taught me how to sit with my back not on the wall and hands not on the desk either)
Special mention: Chitra miss(forgot to type bout her, so in the special mention. She was as good as the others)
The worst(I needn't explain why,need I?)
1.Indira miss.
2.Anandavalli miss.
3.Murali sir(class 5 maths)
4.W.P.Ravichandran sir.
5.Unnamalai miss(class 5 science)
6.Giripriya miss(intrumental in wasting the fees I pais for compsci)
7.Alipatti(she might be substaff but she sucks)
8.Aparna (nice physics teacher. pity the students of 11d.cant stand her even inside the lab)
9.Subhashini Rao(she taught us quiz in class 10!! crap)
10.LV(nice teacher, but what , she slept off to easily before barking ,"you dont care.you dont bother.you are indifferent.")
k ppl,
keep blogging,
luv n regards,
gv.

A new wizard has born!

Hi guys i m Sreekanth of 11 A and i m just introducing myself. It is a nice way to share thought with other peers and build good relationships. Anyway, i knew vikku from 4th std. nice and cool guy and i m happy to join his blogs. OK so lets go down to work..

my yahoo id:sreekanth991990
gmail:sreekanth9990@gmail.com

Teachers:

I made this list of my favourite and least favourite teachers...

The top 10:

Krishnan sir (Chemistry)
He is truly my very favourite teacher of all time. If it weren't for him, I'd probably have not liked Chemistry at all, which meant I would have lost interest in everything, and probably be dead by now. It brings a tear to my eye when I realize he can never teach me again. Noone could teach better than Krishnan sir!

Revathi Iyer miss (English)
She knew me very well since I was the guy who didn't appear on the first day of school in her class. Though I tried to look as innocent as possible, she'd blame me for everything my friends do outside of school. I remember when me and my friends decided to go left from the Sanskrit class instead of right (when exams were going on, and we were particularly warned not to go there). Iyer remarked that it was my idea, wasn't it?
She had no objection in calling us n-letter words, as she would put it.
"One tight slap and that is the end!"
"That will be your FUNERAL!"
"Incorrible, y'all are"
"FILTH"
Her dictionary word thingy was awesome... the best day being on the last day,
Shridhar said Heart
Amogh said Heartbreak
I said Kid
Vasundhara said "influenza" as in the whole class had an influenza of wrestling or something
Ashwin said Kane (with a K and not C) and argued with Iyer that it was a proper word
Vijay said Curt
Sudarshan said Angle
Baba said "incorrigible"
Fun times, fun times!
And she returned in 10th to teach E-conomics.... which she taught in a way that only she could. She'd give us random useless facts just to keep us informed. lol
I was very sad when Saraswathi Miss told me she was leaving the school... I went to her on the first day of Board exams and personally thanked her for teaching me more Economics than anyone else could teach me History/Civics/Geography/Disaster Management. :'(

Prabhakaran sir (Sanskrit)
If I didn't have him as my Sanskrit teacher, I'd have probably had 2 things in my life

1) Mastered Sanskrit left, right and centre
2) Wouldn't have had any fun or free time

I preferred the latter. Only he can make Mahabharata stories interesting. Once or twice, he'll get mad, but I've never got caught by him on my own, cause he thinks it's my friends who influence me to do mischief. And to think, I would write all the lessons 5 times if he had asked!!! Plus, nothing beats Prabhakaran sir telling all the Sanskrit he knows backwards in front of girls.
And his usual favourite quote: Yo Po Ya...
Besides, without him, our 10th excursion wouldn't have been half as good.
Memorable memory: "Maduresh or someone: Sir do you know that we are in (some place like Ahmedabad)
Sir: Enna baadu?

Kamakshi miss (English)
What can I say? I was her top student... she even called me the only "gentleman" in my class just like Phileas Fogg :) She took English for me in 5th and 6th. Plus I was the student who got the highest stars in her system of star charts... and I was also the one who had to go to Viji miss and get the charts back.

Vasanthakumari miss (Science)
She was one of the best Science teachers ever. It was in her time that I developed a liking for Chemistry specifically, but due to an other teacher I soon lost it. She was very kind and understanding. Best was when she divided us into groups for revision for exam and quizzed us.

Ramamurthi sir (C++)
He's the best C++ teacher... EVER!

The value!

Write a program!

Equivalent!

IS!

Please understand THIS!

Lakshmi miss (English)
Adding to the list of my fav. teachers is yet another English teacher. LS is an awesome English teacher. Only LS can take 15 classes a week and show up for only 5 and actually teach the lesson in only one. She'll go off tangentially to any given topic... if the lesson is about the Spirit of Science, she'll start discussing about every damn thing apart from Science. I always laugh when she says "Everybody"! :D

Meenakshi miss (English)
She was an awesome teacher who would appreciate creativity. It was in her class that my essays used to run wild! But sadly, it was in her class also, at about 10 ppl got 10 blackmarks. She was practically the only worthwhile teacher in my 8th.

Latha miss (English)
Though she may not have let us have any fun, she was definitely the best English teacher who could teach us. No teacher I know has the dedication to teaching more than LB. I will never forget the times she used to come to the last bench to see what I was writing, with Arjun on my left laughing his head off and Shrids on the right trying to supress his laughter. Ofcourse, noone would've prepared us for the boards as much as LB.

Sarumathy miss (Maths)
"Look heeeeeeere" "Listen heeeeeeere"
"Gut mornink"
"Told already"
"Viknesh"
She was a great Maths teacher who made me like Maths after I hated it in my 8th.

Kalyani miss (English)
She was my English teacher in 2nd std. She made English so fun when I was just 6-7 years, which made English my permanent favourite subject in school.

Special mention:

Mala miss (Science)
She was my first ever Science teacher... she used to make us close our eyes and said she has eyes behind her back which she uses to see if we are opening our eyes... pretty much superb
Science teacher, if you can call Science a subject in 1st std.

UV (Maths):
Just for the sake of being so good in our excursion.

The Worst:

Shylaja miss (Maths)
She made me hate Maths. I got 55 in Maths in my 8th std.

Indira miss (Physics)
She made me hate Physics.

Seetha Ganeshan miss (Chemistry)
She made me lose all the like for Chemistry I developed in 7th.

Kunjlata miss (Social Science)
I don't think she knows anybody apart from me and Vijay. Whatever happens in our class, only both of us will get shouted at. She's a reminder why I hate Social Science.

Anandavalli miss (Chemistry)
Ippo Chemistry illa Andi a potta, philosophy will end where Chemistry starts.
Konja geveni... Andi is the absolute worst Chemistry teacher in PS. The only thing I can say good is you can OB adichify in her periods.

Special Mention: Lab assistant Jaya

Culturals and assignments.

Assignments are over (for one having written chemistry and comp sci , pfysics is no big deal) . And now begins countdown time. The assignments over and that means , Chitra miss is going to start her everyday tests , Andi is gonna start killing us day by day in the name of revision .Forget LS. I don't remember such a teacher in PS. And don't know what KSS has up against his sleeves. It seems kss and Shanky set the Quarterly question paper this year. And the hot news is , when Shankaraman sir set the questions and asked kss to prepare solutions , he said ," Ponga sir, bore adikkudhu. Naan ezhuthalai , neengalae ezhuthunga." And on the day they were to submit answer key to princi , kss left the answer key at home and finally got an extra day permission to submit it.
Coming back to the culturals, Ive always felt Vikku has been overconfident. Its a pity he didn't end up with anything in poetry. But that doesn't matter and the rest of the events seem to make this years culturals the most memorable one ever. 11A or 11B?? Only time will tell .And if Shreyas and Vishnu can pull out something great , along with an expected prize in lexicon and quiz, then nothing like it. I know its the last chance for both the classes and so both of us are here eager to settle scores and pull the points our side. A great win in adzap thanks to an awesome team performance has seriously helped us , (and thank you vikku) and we just hope some more of luck comes our way. If Vikku relied on Heisenberg's principle ,I rely on Einstein's theory of relativity. Every action on earth is relative to any other action on earth . So the prizes to one team is proportional to their performance in relation to other teams , and so it is a wish that 11B do not get things right for the coming events (sorry ppl, cant help it) and thereby 11A ,a class with not many great talents but due to efficient management of a leader (hehe... this one is for you vikku) will win the championship . In typical kpk style ," Finger cross. You not know what happen nor I . You understand??" .Keep blogging people,
luv n regards,
gv.

School = Suckstou!

Ah well.. The assignment week is about to end, and I cant say I am sad.

The culturals, are going great. We placed second in poetry, next to Neeraja, not sure about the section.

Well, as Vignesh put it, they would win in Quiz. I have no doubts about it. But the others, I have to say, you're grossly under estimating the participants, and the classes as a whole.

The competition is pretty bottleneck at this point of time, and with only one jackpot left to place, its been decided on Lexicon. The other two jackpots have been pretty fruitful, so lets just hope its the same with the next one too.

Chemistry lab is turning out to be one of the worst places in school. Every visit yields more than unsatisfactory results, either a burn on the skin or a torn uniform.

~Some idiot~ had mixed salt in the reagent bottle - read dil HCl - and thanks to that, all the tests that were supposed to be negative turned out brightly positive, with a thick white ppt to top it all.

And its a right pity that me and Swetha had to get the table.

And Shivram. The bloody fool. When his mixture with some acid didnt give a ppt, Lalitha told him to shake it to get a ppt. And he probably thought the acid looked like pepsi, and gave it a nice shake, and threw the contents on my kurta.... A right big hole in the lab coat and my uniform. I had to walk around with folded hands for the rest of the day....

Well, that on one hand. Biology practicals. I have work incomplete from the month before, and add to that, the herbarium. I am actually contemplating frying a leaf to get it dried.. Or better yet, place it in the microwave oven.

Practs alone, classes are a right menace.... We actually talked abt sexual reproduction in COCKROACHES... Its so damn disgusting....

Ah well, that about sums it up.... Its been a month already.... Off now... Physics awaits..

Time to settle some scores

This post is merely a brief summary of the Intra-school culturals held in our school...
I would compare it with Heisenberg's uncertainity principle
[ I like comparing stuff with Chemistry a lot ;) ]
Most of the events are already over, leaving 3 (and a 4th) possible contenders for the Cup...
first, 10 D with 115 points
11 A with 99 points
11 B with 92 points
10 B with ?? points (cant be bothered to check)

The only events left are Lexicon, Block and Tackle, Spin-a-yarn and Quiz.
10 D can be safely ruled out, seeing they're nothing without their music...
that leaves 11 A and 11 B competing with a very small difference in scores....

Being the culrep of my class, I have to have a lot of hope in some of the new students (and old).
Vishnu and Shreyas seem more than enough to win Spin a yarn, if it would be a reflection of what they do in LS' periods.... Shreyas with his fake accent and Vishnu's drunk babblin... what a combo! I really don't think any of the 3 other classes have a chance...

One of Vishnu/Shreyas will hopefully win in B&T too.... I'm hoping it's some matter topic so Vishnu can speak his heart out! There are chances of the other classes winning, but my bet's on Vasant (10E)

Lexicon is a tough call... but I can safely say only the 11th have a chance.... each section has atleast 1 person in their class who has already gone to the finals in the previous years....
11 C has Abhinaya
11 D has Narayan
(still can't get over the fact that C section, a tamil speaking class, beat us last year in Lexicon... )
11 B has Pavithra and Swetha
11 A has Vasundhara
Rohit and "Zombie" Sriram make a deadly duo ... Zombie has an amazing vocabulary and Im counting on those 3 to win in Lexicon....
if 11 A wins in any of these 3 events, 11 A has the highest chance in winning
then it all comes down to Quiz, which usually is a gamble
IF 11 B wins in any of the above events, we will see to it they don't win in Quiz...
10 B has the least chance in winning and that too only if both their Quiz teams tie 1st place (that's hardly probable)
I'm hoping 11 A wins Quiz (which it will, thanks to me :P) and 9A comes 2nd with the team other than 10Bx2,11B wins 3rd and 10 b spl. mention

That would rock this world!

asst week off wid a bang.

So we are back into another assignment week. But the assignment was a no affair today basically. At least for the second batch it was the chemistry lab which held some significance . Alipatti, for a change had me to be her bunny. Who'll know that a burner without a knob could catch a flame. I just asked her ,"Miss, adhu eriyuma miss."And she left me with my heart burning for revenge along with the burner. She just exploded. "Kelvi ellam kekka koodathu . Enna nechindirukkae. Chemistry lablae decency maintain pannu (where does decency come in here??!!). Unakku adhigamana thimiru. " , in that traditional hoarse voice of hers , she said. And I kept replied with a standard sorry for every word she said. And people, those of you who don't know Andi well , please do not go to meet her in the presence of Alipatti . You'll start feeling that she is the best teacher on earth ,and poor her, how does she manage to put up with that devil for nearly 8 hours everyday?? She deserves to get a Nobel Peace Prize for this.
Yet another set of assignments are going on and lets see how it all ends. Anyway all the bestt
P.S: If anyone of you passed by Eldams road today , you might have seen Smruthi n Shruthi's parents giving UV a lift to her home. And Natraj was given a lift too.Poor twins ,their parents n natraj.btw is natraj alive?? let me know.

chem lab..

ndoubtedly thru the year i am going to be bloggng abt the chem lab and my exeriences there..
today's blog is all abt jaya and why she screams at me for no reason -_-

well...it started even before i entered the lab when she called me vasudha innstead of vasundhara,
proceeding which i said 'miss my name is vasundhara' (dont ask why i call her miss, i believe swearing isnt allowed in school) and i dunno..did anyone titter?
she called me in the middle of class when im busy adding some white goo to some yellow goo and tells me off for laughing...what the hell is up with her?
she told me some crap abt having a student called vasudha and how she's as much capable of reading and calling names as the next (im also capable of calling her names but i believe there;s a tiny rule preventing students from free flow of filthy language at lousy lab assts)
so anyways, if only that were all...

after the first salt was analysed... vasiya didnt have enough for flame test (salt that is) and so she borrowed some from me without asking me first (bad move....)
i dont mind or anything,(its all for one and one fore all) but jaya saw her...and thats the end of us...
when i went to collect the next salt from that sadistic freak, she told me off for letting vasiya take my salt...

she told me, that when i get to pracs exam, and im doing salt analysis and i run out of salt, i take some of vasiya's and then ill do it wrong cos we'll get different salts....
does this make sense to anyone? cos..well i mean...DUH WE GET DIFFERENT SALTS... what am i some kindof dolt?
what a freak... she told me ill lose my 30 marks... ..(as if ill get it even otherwise)

well in effect, i did the salts, i finished with plenty of time to spare, and had very little fun...
jaya sufficiently succeeds in ruining my day completely
as if that wasnt enough... when i heard a crash *tinkle tinkle*, jaya sings out mischevously, "yaar adhu odachudu...sandeep thaane? ennaku theriyum"....
she's such a sicko.... a sadistic freakin sicko whom im sure everyone would like to kill,..
in fact i spent a rather enjoyable evening talking with sandeep about jaya's lousiness and how to kill her...
(cyanide's good...)
(arsenic is always there...)
(and after all its a chemistry lab...)
(and then there;s good ole pain and suffering..)
will post again soon
v.s.

A beautiful week

The past week has been the best ever week since school began.! Life is going great, despite the horrendous PTA meeting, when everyone was cursing me in their own sweet words, and much amidst advice of taking me off my computer and the internet, I have survived!

Quoting Beyonce, Iam a survivor!!!

Basically last week began pretty good. The only draw back was that I couldnt go to the Landmark Quiz :(

Friends, Life, School, Fun everything seems to have become synonymous nowadays. Lifes going great, despite assignments, despite a lot of things!!!!

Short post, but I just had to get that out.

P.S - Pavi, if you're reading this, I talked to him..... Will tell ya abt it in school!!!!!

hmmm 50 posts...

Quite a distance, we have traversed with this blog, 50 posts. Probably Shridhar didn't realise that he was actually blogging the post number 50 , and actually his second one (if I'm right) .Its my sincere request that some more people become active on this blog. Not much group blogs do exist with more than two members being very active , and this is a good sign for Priory... , but it could become more frequently updated .Coming back to PS, today was one of bad PTA meeting days. As far as I remember, the people who were given maximum credit and were told to have been brilliant were ( when I was in the room) , Gokul (a brilliant guy who could easily do loads better with some more concentration and reducing of play) , Satti (one of the best behaved guys in the class and someone very good at his studies too) .I ended up with loads of advice and philosophy thanks to LS and Suresh . Light music held in store disappointing and unexpected results for us (especially for people of 11 A). But the remaining events are still there ,and we've gotta win somehow. So with the assignments round the corner , it doesn't seem to be fun time at all. Some tough days up and I expect an inactive blog for the next few days. Anyway people, wear your sleeves up , all the best for the assignments and especially bad chemistry assignment in front of us .Keep blogging and take Priory de to greater heights.
luv n regards,
gv.

'fun' in the chem lab...

hello ppl... tis been a really long time since ive posted anything but i had to post this one about one fine monday morinin in the chem lab... so here goes...

let me start wid my lab parteners who are sandeep (goofball), shreyas(sincere) and sreekanth(somewher in the middle of the 2).... it was all goin fine fer sumtime.... we had all finished the first salt mnso4 except fer sreekanth wen suddenly he comes up wid the brilliant idea of mixin the remainin salt wid all the possible chemicals and reagents in the lab... so wat he did was giv me sum of the salt aand so i added sum ammonium carbonate and left it as it was...

i totally fergot abt that and in the meantime, sandeep and i got screwed by jaya sooo many times that he got fed up and put all his distilled water in the burner... i mean IN it and i also probably added just a few drops in it "accidently"...

so while he was havin his fun sreek took the damn mixture i made and mixed it with "a few" ingredients: the second salt (nico3), conc h2so4, conc hno3, conc hcl, h2s, naoh, copper turnings, and how can i forget DMG!(sum di-methyl shit)
the resultin mixture was a black liquid which was spittin bubbles all over the place and looked as if it was goinna burst... ok may be im exaggeratin a bit too much... but still it looked pretty bad... a pretty nice ending to an eventful day at the labb... but it wasnt over yet...

on wednesday , andi came to our class and called the 4 of us (includin poor shreyas who dint knw a shit that had happend).... and asked us wat mischief we had done on monday... as usual we were clueless and awestruck at how she could blame such innocent students :D, but again, as usual she dint beliece us... so we ended up gettin blasted by her outside with all kinds of crap threats like we wud hav suspended u, taken u to the princi, no country wud want such individuals with such attitudes, but we ar jus goinna giv u ppl a warnin etc etc...and it dint help either that arjun and kaushik were makin snide remarks thro the window...

after that the day was extremely borin.. contrary to wat vikku thinks except fer the part that it was a half day...

so seeya guys
shridhar

Philosophy begins where surroundings end.

Surroundings begin where systems end and philosophy begins where surroundings end. The perfect wordings of Andi. And then she drifted off into the beautiful world of philosophy. She can teach but doesnt know how to. Self contradiction makes her teaching. And her correction , all the more so (SORRY ,SO ALSO in typical andi style.) Then came the perfect coincidence. The RAMU SURESH thing which vikku mentioned. Today was more of a dampener. The whole day sucked and the chemistry marks came as icing on our cake. LS for the first time took 45 minutes worth class without much of disturbances and reading the words Carter and Cade again and again made me go mad . Andi with two stupid periods on temperature ,systems , and formulae (all she mugged up from Pradeeps) was the worst of the lot. A period worse than a Suresh period. I dont mean to say his was any better. He went from bad to worse with his combinations and made us go boo hoo every other second with his complaints. He was back to his old exploits. Regaining of form ,they call it. Ramamurthy sir's periods are easily the best ,and the way he takes his classes simply rocks. Kaushik hit a golden patch the whole of today. Right from his great kalays in physics period and the later kalays at adzap , he was simply superb. His occasional okiede's made the class erupt with laughter and notin like when he talked to ma'am. "Ma'am ,dee okie why is there a jeero force of gravitation during a radius of jeero dee??" And that's enough to put us through the period. And finally came adzap. We simply rocked. Except for some confusion , ours simply put the audience and even the judges to total laughter. Aathi , augrably the best salesman of this years adzap was a clone of the original in his role as S.J.Suryah.Jeyenth rocked as Captain and sizzled as Namitha. I was supposed to do the role of the doctor and that of Namitha too!!, but then I was sent out to make utilization of Ganapathy's ability to imitate Karunanidhi ,something we never did finally. We could have had a better performance, with some more canvassing of the product , but then I felt this was great and will surely fetch us a prize. If only Vikku had placed a jackpot for adzap. A day that finally end up on a disappointing note after a nice scolding , but then it was only adzap that livened this otherwise really sick day up somewhat. If a Thursday , I dont see anything great in prospect for a Friday which is coming up tomorrow except for probably the IIT classes in the evening.

Philosophy begins where science ends

HAHAHAHA!!! Andi's wise words of wisdom!
Apparently, Sandeep doused the bunsen burner with water and Sreekanth mixed two salts, plus Na2CO3 or something with water while Jaya was seeing them! Arjun told them that she knew on Monday itself, but Sandu and Shrids didn't believe him! Today's Chemistry period was nicely wasted thanks to Andi. Andi went on about how our lives are more important and all . All in all, nice way to while away Chem period.

English period had it's own fun too... LS went on about some guy who used to watch 6 movies every weekend... how's that a big feat? Back in the day, I used to watch A MOVIE every day... so 7/week, one more ! Beat that!

The best thing today was Suresh sir using "Ramu" as an example to teach permutations while Mr. Ramu used "Suresh" to teach string literals!!! :D

Basically, today was a very phun day!

A Tribute to Friends

This post is like long overdue, and I really hope that it brings out how much my friends mean to me. In times of darkness, they were my candles... In times of despair, they were my support. When I felt like I just couldnt go on, they always stood beside me. And for this, I dedicate this post to my friends, and in person. Friendship day's gone by, but like what Maruti told me, everyday is a friendship day. I decided not to celebrate because of the absence of a dear friend, who had in fact, registered a post of an oxidized silver ring, with my lunar symbol on it, a day before he was hospitalized...

Not to anyones surprise, the first person I must mention here is Ish. My friend, my brother, my soulmate, another half of myself, a completing piece of an unending jigsaw puzzle, u name it, he is... To say that he knows me better than myself, no matter how cliche' it sounds, would be the understatement of the century. He is one of the very few people who knows, that I am upset, even under a mask of happiness. He has been a pillar for me, ever since the first day I became friends with him. A post is not enough to elaborate on the memories we share. Though he is a thousand miles away, he is always there by me. There for me! - And to this Ish, I pay you tribute...

Akshat - This name actually arises mixed feelings in me. Just yesterday, I can boastfully and happily say, that I woke my best friend out of his coma. He's an enachanting person by himself, who boldly came and told me that he liked me. Even if it was on the last day of school. And he gave me yet another shock yesterday, when he called me up. But thats beyond here. Though not as close to me as Ish, Akshat still stands second, along with Udit. A place in my heart, and memories, always stay open for them. He is one person, who can really console me, before I even tell him whats bothering me...

Akshat and Ish, have been closer to me than anyone else, ( excluding Udit ) and maybe this is the reason why I say I cannot live without them

Udit, one of the most special people in my life. My favourite friend, my kid brother who was shorter than me by a foot. But a guy who still stood up for me, against everyone who bothered to defy.. The only friend with whom I've never fought with, the only friend, who accepted who he was, and knew what he was.If I start about Udit, I'd probably never stop.

Janani, my first friend. I've been friends with this idiotic girl for about 13 years, this July 4th marking the beginning of the 14th year of friendship. I met her on my first day at school, in Chettinad. Like my mom likes to say often, we have gone crying to school together, taken part in fancy dress competitions together, stayed in each other's houses more than we stayed at our own houses, watched more than a hundred movies together, and the list goes on. She has remained a friend for every step in my way. And indirectly she has been a reason for many more people who have become my friends. I came to PS because Janani had come here....

Jayasharadha, one of my closest friends yet. It is not fibbing if I say that we know each other inside out. One of the few people who can tell me if I am going wrong somewhere.. We share most interests, that people used to and still call us sisters, but we know that we are too different yet so alike, to be sisters.

Vignesh, my twin brother. :D ... As he rightly said, we have 6.023 * 10 ^ 23 similarities. Yet I've known him for only about 6 months.. A person truly after my own heart, when it comes to Harry Potter, or a computer freakiness, or allergies, or music, or addictions, or obsessions or bad immunity, you name it, he's got it. Gave me quite a bit of a scare about two weeks back, but he's more than back to normal now... His arrogance, and ego preceeds the name, but wheres vikku without that?

Swetha, Pavithra, Vaaruni and Lakshmi new friends in a new class this year, who have become so close, that its almost unbelievable that its just been about 2 months since we've really known each other! Swe's almost like a replica of me, in most issues, extremely emotional, and cares for friends too much too. But over all a real fun loving person.. PaVi, truly one of a kind. Weird sense of humour, but can brighten you up even when bio class is going on. Runi, trruullllyyy crazy, almost as insane as me, and deathly afraid of birds, but a real fun person to be with. Lakshmi, do I even need to talk about her? G Lakshmi or THE Lakshmi, it says it all!!!

They have cried for me, and cried with me, even though they werent really all that close to me. They did not know who Udit was, yet they shed tears for him, and for this I appreciate them, I couldnt have gotten here without them...

Sandeep, goofy, it all says the same. Greatest goofball of the century, who is one of the few people other than Aksh, who can realllly cheer me up, no matter how sad or pissed Iam. Extremely sweet, and fun loving, he livens up the conferences we have online. Humor at its best, and a football fanatic, he makes a reallly nice friend.

And last but not the least, Shreyas... Known him since my kindergarten days... Though we arent really all that close of friends now, I can remember the times in Chettinad, when he was the only competition I had, in almost everything. Studies, extra curriculars, u name it he was there. I can remember when he used to bite his tie off, for an extra mark I scored, or the time when borrowed a comic book from me only to return it two years later. A really nice guy, and a techno geek at heart, who still remains a child... With his love for pokemon.. Honestly...

Sahridaya and Vedhikha, they were pretty close to me till my tenth standard, through the fights and the quarells we had. We still remain really good friends, even though they have changed schools....

So, that about sums up what I wanted to say. I have many more friends like Shruthi and Smruthi - Twins, so unlike each other, yet who have become so close to me over the past few months, Anu, who has been like a sister to me, Abhishek, who has livened me up so many times, Divya., with whom I've oor suthified, like with no one else.... The list goes on, but I dont have the time to continue this. So I end it here... And Adios!

sandy's perfect point on alipatti.

skool!da very word brings happiness. but den feelings r repulsed wid da mention of science practicals. as sandy had mentiond nothin is worse dan dat look on alipatti's face which can make u feel da immediate need to give her a bashing. she cant c properly n she'll make u reap all da benefits of her mistakes.i was once standin next to her wid my watchglass for some salt, n she replied sayin "poi sollade. oda vanguve. modhale mannersa pannanum appuram salta pannalam!!(wat does dat mean??)" sandy has achieved da distinction of gettin to b her bunny da max. no. of times.even last klass she came n said, "sandeep enga??odi poytana?" with a voice as melodious as dat of ms's when da poor guy was standin jus beside her.god needs to b thankd fer a monday holiday n another week long wait to meet alipatti again. in da midst of all dis in da lab there is srinivas wid his mokkai . once when shreyas in total depression said " alipatti mela acid ootha poren." , srinivas said, " alipatti namakku uppu (salt) pottirukka. uppu pottavalukku droham panna koodathu. " which was followed by a series of jokes in lab which once again delayed our lunch. two years of torture in chem lab, added to da much applauded sense of humour of aandi n srini to join her has made our super seniority. lets go on n c how things do change in da future. even lalitha wud do fer chem , but not andi. n dk??!!ughhh. dat rat is another thing we would like to leave 11a .if at all ny1'll b ready to take him in deir klasses. if so den even vishal raghu cud leave to give him company. n i sense mr ramu gettin sema serious nowadays.so v r gonna have da time of our lives fer da rest of da first term in klass 11.
shall continue bloggin.
luv n regards

a wait to da annual day.

da annual day is fast apprachin n so is da last phase of fun among students of class 11 .den i suspect it wud b studies ,studies n studies only . today da fun of holidays began but was spoilt totally by da great andi. i seriously felt dis was her worst ever klass n to da amazement of all in klass she left us early by 5 minutes today.(she generally leaves us 10 minutes or even 20 minutes after bell.) after klass ,vichchu n myself came to have a peek at da annual day programme n we had sema gr8 fun. da english play as usual was sober . da story was abstract n we cudnt understand nythin goin onstage. some blackmailin went on n den aadhithyan appeared. he started comparin da story wid some tamil movies n vichu provided him gr8 company thus leadin me into pearls of laughter till a security guard came n stoppd us midway. den we came back to watch da programmes after sometime. da tamil play was seriously b8r. saiganesh tried as usual to hog da limelight but dis time in vain. it was an all class 11 show. vijeyendran rocked as arjun .except fer those traditional tamil accents. ganapathy as usual started off wid a "tamil en uyir.tamil mannu en uyir moochu." but da hero was gokulakrishna as a nasal accented karna. do watchout fer him durin da tamil play. den wasnt available to watch da whole programme .but now i am filled wid expectations to watch da annual day programme as evry other year. after all it is our own skool's programme n let us watch it wid a sense of pride n happinness within ourselves. blog later. till den,
luv n regards,

I'm back!

OHHHH YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It took a lot to turn myself back to me ... thanks to Sandeep and my bro Suman... my return was even better than Matt Hardy's and that's saying something.
Speaking of Version 1, ANDI of all the damned people threw up the V1 sign!! MATTITUDE!
As Srinivas would put it, I'm a B +ve guy now.... :D
It's like a new beginning to me. I've been reborn and better than ever.
I dub myself from now on, V.
and here's my quote:
"Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity... is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished, as the once vital voice of the verisimilitude now venerates what they once vilified. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-à-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V."

Let's hope I dont get depressed any more... I've got nothing to worry for now!

LOTS BEEN HAPPENING...

Yes ,i mean lots....last 2 weeks hav been a bag of fun, melancholy,n dullness...n v v's last post had a few of us worried abt him....
Assignments turned out to be horrid esp comp sci...cmon we had all jus got back frm excursion n how d hell do dey expect us to do well??!!....
Monday(d one after d assign week) was a crummy day for more reasons than one..the one major reason has already been listed out in shru's post.....n shru u dont need to b soo formal abt it,we'd do dat for u netime:)....the week progressed with no remarkable event takin place except dat we dint hav eng d whole of last week,n wed n thu mr.ramu was absent soo. we were all basically vetti ....
This week too started on a mundane note...i was rlly happy we dint hav to cum to skool on thu n fri...but andi spoilt it for us sayin we hav spl class on thurs[how unfair can it get??:(]...as usual chem lab was a chaos...we had diff ppl runnin in diff directions doin diff tests desperate to get deir tests rite d first time.....
Annual day is cmin up..tho it is d least interestin event it cums wid one fringe benefit ..we get 5 days off[:))]....so jus one more full day to go...
PS has ne1 seen poc??
