Indian judiciary to the rescue..

It was very heartening to note that a stay on reservations has come up in India... It seems a miracle.. Something out of the blue.. When the political parties are fighting to provide more and more reservations with one party promising 27% reservation n the other promising 48% reservation, the judge comes up with something for which you need a lot of resolve being in India...
No one is stupid... Rather than reservations in colleges, build more schools n educate the effected party... I watched a 30 yr old tamil movie today where the heroine Lakshmi is a brahmin who lies that she is an SC and gets education n finally ends up being a collector.. But the final stages of the movie are shot in such a way of telling that brahmins gettin educated is a crime...
What crap??!!!
No one is backward... Provide them with school education... Let them work their way into colleges.. Or give all of us reservations too... Provide a no. of seats for the so-called socially upward caste people so that we know how many seats we are fighting for... They get normal seats and those who do not through the entrance get a quota seat...
And what is most disheartening is that our Hon'ble CM has declared a bandh protesting the stay... I wish the political parties were less selfish and worked for the welfare of the people...
He is tryin to prove that administrative power is stronger than judicial power... After all the ruling party in the centre is ruling thanks to the 40 seats of his party...
But truth shan't fail any day..
Satyameva Jayate...
Jai Hind...

Beautiful Words.....

I suppose you would have all read about the Supreme court verdict about the quota by now. Leaving that aside for a moment, did any of check the words said by the judge, Beautiful.

Nowhere else in the world do castes, classes or communities queue up for the sake of gaining backward status. Nowhere else in the world is there competition to assert backwardness and then to claim we are more backward than you.

Sivaji songs are out...

Brilliant... 3 songs are out on a promotional offer on the net... Sivaji songs truly rock... ARR has done a brilliant job... The duet in which arr sings is not yet out..

the three songs are Vaa Ji Vaa Ji Sivaji... Brilliant song.. But along heard lines.... ARR usual stuff...

Hariharan sings a perfect duet... something he does very well...

Sadhana Sargam is enchanting...

Nice song to hear..

Then comes "the" song... Sahaara pookal Sahana Saaral.... The pick of the three songs... Melody at its best...

You can just happily sail through the song.... Its so very nice to listen to such a nice after such a looong time....

I jus feel so very nice after listenin to it jus now... Im writin this jus minutes after listenin to the songs..

I knew that the songs were online about 15 days ago... But I dint wanna listen to them online as being a thalaivar fan, i wanted to wait till the casettes/cds to release on april 4 th but when some of friends who are just normal film buffs listened to this song, I thought being a SS fan, I should have heard... But felt happy I didn't... But on the website( Ill post it later here) where I went to dwnload pachai kili muthu charam songs, i found that the 3 sivaji songs were officially out on a promotional offer... N here i am listenin to the songs...

The third song is equally brilliant as the second but the fact that the second is a melody scores it over the third...

The second song is sung by Udit (You know he's always tooooo... good) and Sujatha..

Udit makes most of all his Tamil oppurtunities which have made him one of the most sought after singers in tamil movies even 20 years after his tamil intro...

The third song is a full rap song... Oru kudai sunlight oru kudai moonlight... by Suresh Peters and who else but the king of Indian rap,Blaaze.. How can ARR leave him out of his album... How can a tamil rap song even be made without blaaze... Amazing song full of praises for the "superstar"... You'll enjoy the songs..

The songs are available here...

Listen and enjoy.....
urs ever,
lots of luv,

Superb Joke in Calculus

Just found this funny!

Two functions, x^2 and e^x are walking down the street. Off in the distance they see a differential operator walking towards them. e^x turns to x^2 and tells him: "You better get out of here! If that operator differentiates you a few times you'll disappear, but he can differentiate me all he wants and I'll stay the same."

So x^2 runs off and e^x goes to greet the differential operator. "Hi, I'm e^x" he says. "What's your name?"

The operator looks at him with a demonic grin and says: "d/dy".

Random stuff

Time travel. Something I always loved. Something I believed in.
But it's stupid.
What's the point of time travel if you can't change anything.
The best you can do is re-live the glory days.
You cannot change fate. If you try, time will alter it back.
I know.
From experience.
Cause I will travel through time soon.

And I like to call myself the Cerebral Assassin...
I don't know why, but I'm fascinated by the human mind.
I like manipulating minds... getting into people's heads... think like them, think for them...
Ofcourse I can't read minds like someone else I know who's psychic... but I calculate thoughts. My method is scientific so to speak.
It's almost turning into an obsession rather than a hobby.
@_@
I don't know if I can stop. I know I should.

Hello..

So I'm back blogging on Priory after quite some time... The dreaded assigments are back, the only relief being that they begin not on Monday but Wednesday this week... Mystique is shaping up pretty well... So school is turning out to be some fun in class 10... The only problem being that teachers are killing with umpteen special classes every week... Chitra miss following Shivakumar sir has started keepin special classes after school hours... By the way, I heard some interesting stuff happening in 11D with Shivakumar sir... So it would be some nice gossip if some one could brief us on the whole issue... And most important of all.... The WORLD CUP 2007 HAS BEGUN.... YIPEEE... For all diehard cricket fans here... Wish you all a very enjoyable month of cricket viewing....
Today's brawl between Kaushik and Vishal has been the first major fight in class 12 this year... and it sets the tempo for a brilliant year..
The subsequent blasting of Shanky was simply brilliant... Naan othukka mattenna matten... says Shanky and that sets the whole class rolling into silent laughter..
Nothing different with andy's "Am I make myself clear???"
or with vc's "Eyma thee... ok thee consider the diffraction of the light.."" And she did ultimate comedy when she said..
" The process involves the source and sliT close to... sorry thee... screen and sliT close to..... sorry thee... screen and source close to thee sliT...."
See you all soon then.... until then
taking your leave,
urs ever,
lots of luv...

Jaya == Flickr

No, Jaya's photos aren't on www.flickr.com, that would be the ultimate but I actually am referring to the noble art of flicking.. End of the last academic year we were forced to cough up money for the "BREAKAGE" and after several threats and warrants, we all yielded. But I learnt of a couple of startling things. The rates that our school charges - 350 for Std Flask and same for burette, 130 or sommit for pipette and the like are broad daylight murder.

On keen investigation, 2 other schools charge Rs.180 against our 350. If you don't believe me, please ask your friends from other schools. Plus, on Rohit's investigation, it has come to light that even in the market, these products cost a max of 150-200, transport charges come to 240 at the most, I don't see the 350 line anywhere near. This is Utterly Ridiculous!!!

We should all fight against this form of evil which swindles our money and Rohit is planning to take this to Andy or even someone higher. I fully support him in his endaevour and I hope you will too!! Anybody willing to fight for this will get my SPL vote as well. *ahem*...

Arise, Awake and Stop not till your goal is reached. Spoil Jaya's plans and let our money not get wasted anymore.

Chemistry Practs - They gotta get better each time

The beginning of the year, new set of experiments and here I am - with a broken burette, a KMnO4 stained uniform and a record to break....

First the burette I got was blocked and refused to open.... Then Jaya does something with it, and it started working...... I washed it with water and KMno4 closed it and started filling. But then I realized that the level in the burette was just the same. It never started raising and I look down, damn the burette, the minute I pour in the solution it comes out.... And now, it wouldnt close.....

So here I am, with a burette leaking KMnO4, a pink salwar and a puddle of it on the ground, when Sudha walks by and reprimands me for not knowing MIND YOU, not knowing how to fill a burette and thats exactly what ticked me off........

Bloody Hell, but I made sure that I told Lalita my problem, otherwise I would probably be sued for breakage...

Class ends and we are calculating the values and Sudha screams at us to get out.... Jaya, being more ingenious switches off the light and makes a sarcastic comment, that we get out only when the light is switched off, like we are scared of the dark or something....

Swetha goes by and says, we flee even when you charge us with breakage.... 1 -0 for students vs Jaya !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And well, there ended the interesting part of the adventure to the unknown realms of the dark dungeons- read Chemistry lab....

And today when everyone has a holiday, at least until 2, the second batch of 11-B or rather 12-B now, have to be at school at 12.30 to do Physics practicals..

God save us this time............
