Practical-o-phobia

Ah, at last, the herbarium is done. And the plants have been nicely stuck to paper, their botanical names researched and habitats analyzed. Now all I need to do, is to sit and write about 5 more experiments in bio observation and record each and then learn the whole damn 60 pages BY HEART

Life sucks and then you die

Why aint I dead yet then?

For one, today is not exactly going my way. The only positive thing about the whole day being the arrival of my friend Ish.

This ones for VV - The list of my favourite teachers, not in the same order

1. Subhashini maam - Not many people really know about her, but she has taught us for 3 years and I think she is a brilliant teacher, who make even lessons like Ode to the West Wind sound really interesting. And also shes a great class teacher, a little strict perhaps but really nice altogether. Like, when I had a drop in potassium level sometime back, she actually called me up and asked me if I was better and whether she should pack extra lunches for me, in case my parents werent in town

2. Revathy Iyer maam - I think she is probably one of the best teachers PS has ever had. Extremely vivacious and sprouting information about non related subjects making the class very enjoyable, its a pity that she had to leave. We had her for English in 8th std, and I think it was superb. Especially the standard " A- double S "... The debates we had in class remain fresh in my mind as it were yesterday

3. JK maam - It sounds almost too trivial, but she really was a saint. After having other maths teachers, we realize her importance. I might as well as go fall at her feet. Epitome of patience. Especially having Valliappan and Arun Prashanth in the class, never once did she lose her cool, and would explain the concept for the 100th time, if the student hadnt understood. It was real thanks to her that I scored a 98 in my boards

4.Gurumoorthy Sir - He is simply the best in physics. Class used to be so much fun, and so much worthwhile. We had him for 3 years and they were simply superb. He had absolute class control and at the same time there never was a dull moment in class when he was with us. Though he still takes practicals for us, he is one teacher I really miss.

5. Vasanthakumari maam, Shylaja maam, Meenakshi maam and Saraswathy maam - Though they have never taught me directly they are some of the few teachers who always have a smile for the students, be it anywhere. A greeting never goes unreturned with them, and for this they are really appreciated.

Well, there are other teachers like Kunjalata maam, Chitra maam etc who have been really nice teachers, not academically alone but cool teachers too. But I guess thats all there is to it.

If I could write about teachers from other schools too, then this list will never end. So adios now... The Bio book awaits ..................................
