The beginning..

Hi ppl,
So here goes a post after almost one year. One very eventful year. The end of one of the most colourful periods of my life. People can keep telling stuff like, It isn't over till all the results come out, and stuff like that, but the truth is 'IT IS OVER'!!
Guess quite a few of you might have had a look at the new School Magazine, and I must admit the cover page sucks... And even the pictures inside aren't actually quality pictures..
I thought I could post a few threads dedicating the memorable moments of my school life to the people who made them special.. This post intends to talk about my beginning at PS.
I joined PS in June 2000, after my parents bugged our then principal Mrs.Vijayalakshmi Srivatsan for an admission in PS towards the end of May 2000. My first friends at PS were Vivek ( He was in PS till his 10th, 10 B to be more precise) and Badri ( 5B then, now in 11C).
And I wasnt told which class I belonged to earlier. So I went along with them and sat in 5B, for which Shylaja miss was the class teacher. And then she took me class by class, searching for my name in the attendance register of each class, and my name was found in the 5E (Class teacher Kamakshi miss) attendance list. I was lead to sit in between two of the most prolific characters PS has ever produced, Vishal Narain and Venkat Saswath. And my class had a gang of rowdies then, many of them people might not be aware of now. There was Tarun, Ganesh Gautham, Madhuresh, Venkat Saswath, Arun Prashanth, Vishal Narain, Harihar, B.Sriram... The list was too long to stop. My place was exactly where Ramamurthi sir sits today in the computer science lab, the place which reads 'Entry Prohibited' or something like that... Enna Koduma Saravanan!! Class 5 was great fun.. I was branded a rowdy in the first term and was gifted with 5 blackmarks in the first term itself.. All this was coz, I hated India initially!! I would have loved to stay back in Bahrain (for those of you who don't know, I was in Bahrain till class 4), but was forced by my dad to come to India... I made comments in class saying I din want to study in the school... That was when Kamakshi miss spoke some sense into me sayin these golden words," THE SCHOOL DOESN'T LOSE YOU IF YOU LEAVE, YOU LOSE THE SCHOOL." Looking back now, her words were true to a T. I miss school like hell now.. I was asked to follow the example of one Mr.Varun Muralidharan who was later to become my best friend.. Varun and I had been good rivals since day one, coz other than Rajeshwari's 25 in assignment 1 Maths, I hadn't seen anyone but for Varun and myself scoring 20+ in any assignment.. This highly valuable advice of Kamakshi miss made me find a really good friend.. I don't have many people to thank regarding class 5, but for admitting the fact that the AE Quiz classes found me some really good acquintances, like those of Shridhar, who was to become one of my really good friends later, Alimuthu, Kaushik Shridhar, and ofc my supposedly biggest rival... A really memorable year.. I thank all of them who made it really really special for me.. Thanks to Kamakshi miss, Kesavan sir, Varun , Hari (for the 8.15 to 9 discussions everyday about cricket news the previous day) and Prabhakaran sir(for have slapped me once in Sanskrit class).
Ill continue the series of posts sometime later this month. And yeah Vikku, you can depend on me for a regular supply posts, post June.. Even if I don get anything good to post, Ill copy-paste some vetti forwards I recieve..
Ever yours,
GV/Chappli...

A Hurdle Crossed!

I suppose all the IIT enthusiasts (note that I don't count myself in) are happy with their performance in JEE. But that is another story.

What I want to know is where are those posts promised by certain people who were talking about posting today evening? I was waiting for those actually.

Hope you all did JEE well,

Rapster

The end of a saga!!!!

Ah, since it looks like the Priory is almost dead (OMG), I think its high time someone posted, and considering that most of the members here have exams till the 31st *not to mention that my exams finished on the 20th*, I just decided that this blog could do with a touch of randomness. Perfectly good intentions!!!!

Right now, I know all of us are very busy trying to secure admission to either the Dumeelkuppam University or Karunakara Ambal Institute for Higher Intellectuals, but a certain member amidst our ranks already secured admission to this highly prestigious institution by giving a generous donation to one of the deans. So Shridhar can at least say he is assured a seat there. Sigh.. I wish it were that easy for all of us!!

And of course, getting back from Lalaland after fighting the mutant sabre tooth tigers, which were thought to be extinct was ridiculously tough, and not to mention the fact that dear old agent LD somehow sat there eating cookies while the Ninja managed to conjure a ring of fire to protect them both....

So, I am hopefully guessing that there will be more such random posts here on the Priory now that the exams are drawing to a close for all you guys!

Wishing you all the very best for the last exam of your school life...

The Constitution of the constipation of the wash basin of the nation

NOTE : If the title doesn't make sense. Think hard. If it still doesn't make sense. Think some more. If it still doesn't. Refer to some guide like Bruce Lee or Harihant or Tantalum guide (a spin off from golden guide). If that fails to infuse you with wisdom...refer to wikipedia. If that fails as well in your insatiable quest to decipher this supercallifragilisticexcellentballe title. It's ok child. The title wasn't supposed to make sense :D
