As Sandeep described it:

1) A person's husband or wife elopes with another woman/wife or man/husband.
2) A close friend spills his friend's deepest and darkest secrets.
3) A person feigns friendship with another only to use him/her for a specific purpose.

I can easily relate to all the 3 incidents in terms of WWE...

The whole Edge-Lita-Matt fiasco...
First Matt and Edge were good friends... dating back to 2000s... they had many TLC matches to offer...
Lita was Matt's girlfriend... they were even engaged.
Matt got injured (reason being Lita was on Raw and Matt was on SD!... Lita wanted to compete for the Women's championship, so Matt jumped to Raw for her)
Matt is put to a feud with Kane
Kane is just a mad monster
Kane beats Matt up and permanently puts him to rest in a Death Do Us Apart match, and wins the hand of Lita in marriage
Matt Hardy is quietly fired by WWE
Edge is next in line for a big push
Lita sleeps with Edge backstage
Gold rush tournament finals. Edge vs. Kane.
Lita turns on Kane and helps Edge win
Next week Lita and Edge marry live on Raw
WWE projects Kane as their Matt Hardy and humiliates him publicly
The fans start chanting deragatory chants at Lita : Hoe/Slut/etc.
Trish who was once a heel had to turn face for this
The fans get pissed and start chanting for Matt to come back
Matt due to popular demand does come back...
...only to lose to Edge in a loser leaves Raw match
Later Edge and Lita have their "Live Sex Celebration"
Matt is out of the picture, with Lita and Matt never able to be friends again

True story... yet so sad! Matt Hardy Version 1 forever!!!

HBK, back in 2002 invited his old buddy HHH to join the nWo on Raw
HHH is offered a very very good contract to SmackDown! by his ex-wife Stephanie McMahon

HHH has a choice:
Choose his wife Steph and go to SD!
or
Choose his best friend Shawn and go to Raw
HBK said the last thing he wanted to do was cause any trouble
HBK didn't want to get involved, but he remembered pledging to bring HHH to the nWo
HBK said there's nobody in the world that HHH is better friends with
HBK told his friend to imagine the two back together again
HBK imagined making Bischoff's life a living hell
Triple H said that was a tempting offer
Triple H then turned and hugged HBK, making official his switch to RAW

Later on Raw
Triple H tries to stop a pissed off HBK from leaving the arena
HBK says that he still has his pride, and he's not gonna be a lacky
Triple H tells HBK to not take his ball and go home like Stone Cold did
Triple H says that he wants HBK to be with him on RAW
Triple H says that he has a plan that HBK will like
Triple H gives Shawn Michaels a plastic bag
HBK looks inside and laughs
Triple H tells him to put it on
HBK asks if Triple H is serious?!
Triple H says of course!
That familiar D-Generation X music hits and Triple H & Shawn Michaels come to the ring
HHH & HBK are wearing oldschool DX shirts
Triple H aknowledges a small DX chant within the crowd
Triple H does his famous "Let's get ready to suck iiiiitttt" speech
OUT OF NOWHERE.. Triple H kicks Shawn Michaels in the gut!
Triple H pedigrees Shawn Michaels in the center of the ring!!
Triple H removes the DX shirt and throws it on top of HBK
Triple H leaves HBK laying in the ring

3) A person feigns friendship with another only to use him/her for a specific purpose.
The only thing I can think of in recent history is the Chris Jericho-Trish Stratus-Christian saga...

How it all came to occur... was due to a simple bet (ironic, isn't it?)
Jericho and Christian have a bet with eachother saying each one can get a diva to sleep with them before the other... Jericho chooses Trish and Christian, Lita
Jericho helps out Trish in most of her matches, and due to her even loses a few of his OWN matches to Mark Henry
Christian tries to act cool in front of Lita, but just pisses her off more
Jericho actually falls in love with Trish
Lita finds about the bet and tells Trish
Trish is shocked that Jericho would behave so indecently... Christian is an altogether different issue
There is a battle of the sexes match pitting Jericho/Christian against Trish/Lita at Armageddon
Jericho is a bit uneasy on fighting Trish, and tries to talk to her
Christian sneaks up from behind and steals the victory
Jericho and Christian argue a bit, with Christian telling Jericho that Trish is a big distraction in his life and he's beginning to lose his edge thanks to her
On Christmas, Jericho presents Trish with a gift
Trish says a Christmas gift wouldn't make her forget about the bet
Trish says all she got for Christmas was a broken heart and that she believes Jericho will never change...
Later on Raw, it's at Nevada, Las Vegas, so the Raw Roulette comes into play
The main event is Evolution (Batista/Flair) vs. HBK/Jericho
Trish says be a man to Jericho
Jericho and HBK win the match when HBK Sweet Chin Musics Flair and Jericho does it to Michaels, with HBK landing on Flair
Later at Wrestlemania, Christian vs. Jericho with Trish as the referee is announced
Trish betrays Jericho and makes Christian win and makes out with him in the middle of the ring

True story, yet again, all because of a bet.
