Of Friends, True friends and oppurtunitists

I really thought I knew a damn lot about people and that I had fantastic judging power even after 5 conversations, guess I was terribly wrong... I realize that even after 50, some things can't be understood. People are so unpredictable.... you think/classify they are of a kind, but they just seem to be changing every alternate second.

There are some oppurtunists or whateva you call them... they are the ones who will probably survive in this world and not the rest of us. They behave normally with people most of the times and when you can do something favorable to them, they stick as glue, seriously! If you are good at something, then when everybody does that you'll feel their presence around you completely ignoring what others have to say.

Then there are the 'good'-friends... By good I am referring to the fact that frequent company of only achievers, either you are brilliant or you are an athelete or you are a born genius. Their density shifts fully towards such ppl and they don't give a dam about some lesser mortals and even ignore us. Sadly, I have seen such people around me and am disgusted, this is the friendship at it's worst.

And then at times, you seriously don't know who your best friend, at times you feel as if there are none, and at times there are so many. People lie blatantly and this is disgusting. The attitude of so many are terrible and upsetting. They do anything for some good friends of theirs or themselves and stamp others down in the process indifferently.

Ofcourse it's obvious that ppl claiming to be your best friends are half the times not. Best friends don't claim that. Some people around you are really true and good friends but the cut comes there because you just don't share the same opinions. Some hang around for goodies, some for the name and some for knowledge but one who does expecting nothing is a true friend. (Probably srini would come here saying that void function does not expect anything in return, he is the god of mokka!)

And I'm seriously losing interest in every damn thing...... even orkut and coming online. Only Pro Evolution Soccer 5 logs me in!

I probably could have posted this in my own blog, but the audience there aren't meant for this post. I'm just feeling sad that those closest to me have been separated - T, M, S and A.:(

Go,d one can't identify who is a potential true friend these days..;(And oh!! this is not targeted@ anybody, just saw this around me to ppl around me and posted it.. cheers!
