A stroll down the memory lane..........

Well, its back to blogging here at Priory after a very long hiatus! And Shreyas's idea seems quite nice for a comeback post...... The past year has been one of the most bizarre, heart wrenching yet one of the most memorable years through out my school life.... Though most of the people whom I mention in this post, might not really be popular in the circle of bloggers, they have left an impact all the same....

11th began pretty normally. Excursion proceeded with full fun n frolic, the night we returned to Chennai, that was when everything started going down in a full fledged rollercoaster ride.....

But this post is basically a thanks to all of you guys who have been there for me, at various points of the year......

So here it goes...

1) J - Well, I've known this girl from my 8th std, though we werent really the best of friends then. But now, we've grown closer thanks to her being the only ex-10 B girl apart from me in my class, and well, I've already talked quite a lot about her previously too..... A girl with attitude overload, can be extremely sarcastic or snappish at times, but still a nice person on the whole..... Is not very emotional most of the time, but if she does get emotional, its a very rare sight to see..... Can express her thoughts pretty frankly without thoughts about how the other person might take it... Which proves to be quite a positive and negative aspect at the same time.....

2) Shruthi and Smruthi - They are the polar opposites in the literal sense of the word. They have been quite close to me right from the beginning, considering we used to travel together to school, and we had taken up the same second language and all. But this year, we have become a lot more closer. I've probably been there half the time during the past summer and its been quite an amazing time, watching movies like SAW 3, IN HER SHOES ( :D ), Evil Dead 3 and all..... And well, I only hope that this continues after we finish school...

3) Swetha, Pavithra and Lakshmi - Well these three girls from 10 -D, have become very good friends this year.... Earlier, we werent really what people would call 'friends' considering, that me and Swe had our own opinions about each other, the only time Pavi has probably recognized me out of school was when she saw me scooping mud samples for my science project outside her house ( Boy, what a great first impression) and Lakshmi , well, I only knew her as the topper who came to KSB!

But this year all that has changed.... Somehow, these three people have boned with me pretty well. And to Swe and Pavi, I gotta say this - Friends 4Ever!!!!!!

4) Vaaruni - I expected something else when I first found out that a girl from Shishya has joined our school, but she turned to be something else.... Vaaruni has a very strong personality, one that tends to put you in total comfort with her, I mean, she is witty, can crack mokkais of Ani papa's standards and has a clear ringing laughter!!! Runi has somewhat become an integral part of our group!!

5) Vinaya - Vinnie isnt here now, and I hope you are reading this from London!! Vinaya was an awesome friend, extremely outspoken yet, very demure.... She was also very funny, and could make you laugh like hell. But at the same time, she was pretty stubborn and got angry very easily, especially if someone said that Ganguly was bad!!! :D That's Vinaya for ya!

The guys :

Well, in my class, I gotta say this, it was really a huge change from 10 -B to 11- B... In 10-B me and J were considered to be somewhat outcasts, cos we used to talk to boys, and guess what, they talked back too... lol

But 11-b was exactly the opposite. Even guys like Naren, who never really used to talk before, apart from strictly academic purposes started talking a little more humanly with us. And it was a welcome relief. And then there is Deedz, and then Nandan - These 2 can only mean twin trouble, born to irritate people yet make them laugh, the eternal Great Indian comedy show in class with these 2. And if you thought these 2 were bad, there is more to come. Ani and Shivram

Ani puts mokkai like no one else can, and apparently he carries a heavy burden on his shoulders, for mokkai cracking is a very huge responsiblity! He gets tensed easily, yet can make us all laugh esp cos he keeps a bloody straight face when he cracks mokkais.....

Shivram, this guy should have been locked up in Alcatraz.. You hear him talk, and your ears literally bleed... Some of his famous quotes are ( as told to Jaya mostly. )

1) I will make a jam out of your bones and drink your blood as a juice - technically translate that into tamil, and you have what he said...... Makes you think that he is a dracula reincarnate
2) Deaf fool, go and die ( this translation is actually quite decent when compared to what he actually said)

And many other such extremely entertaining conversations have ensued between Shivram and myself, which on looking back now, seems extremely dimwitted, but still he is a a nice guy onhe whole, and has made a lot of classes extremely funny!

And then there is Kaushik Sridhar - This guy is a bloody diplomat, but his silent demeanour, and witty catchphrases are enough to have you laughing hard..... And not to mention self praises :D

NK and Kritti - The awesome twosome, they have the bloody best timing in the world.... kritti with his oscillations, which have lead to many a comment by Shiv Ku about his harmonic motion :D and NK with his comments on many teachers, esp drumming his fingers on the table, in a perfect imitiation of someone we all know and despise :D

And then the others :

Vikku - This guy, whom I started talking to about a year back, has become a really good friend in the one year that has passed. Like he has said, we share so many things, starting from allergies to music, from being online to watching movies, that it has freaked us out at times. A good friend to turn to for support, and he was there for me, when I thought no one else was. And thanks for that! Like he said, we share a telepathic connection, he can almost read my mind, literally, and its bloooody freaky!

Chappli - This guy, whom I thought to be a pompous git, turned out to be a pompous git... LOL.. Sorry, no offense Chappli, but this guy is one with attitude overload, and can be extremely conceited at times, especically when it comes to IIT class. But a real softie at heart, cries very easily, and is very emotional. Takes things to heart too easily, but well, without that where would he be.. I hope you are reading this from Bombay.... I got to know him well, only through IIT classes and thanks to KKA for that!

Shreyas - Shre, this fella is my oldest friend here at PS. Known him from my kindergarten days, when we used to argue about our handwritings, and whether his I was more lopsided or mine was. Those were some days werent they? He gave me competition in whatever I did, studies, essay writing, oratoricals, everything......And it still remains the same. His cycle is one thing I will never forget in my life :D LOL... Sorry about that... Our interests in music are similar, and he is almost as bad as me when it comes to the internet, though he refrains from chatting as it is a waste of time he calls it. Though I cant say that he is my closest friend, he comes close to that than anyone else here. And well, thats the little ray of sunshine for ya!

P. S - Your handwriting has become worse :D Have the slam book for record. Maybe I ought to scan that and post it da... The song.... LOL

Sandeep - The goof man returns. He is probably the only one who understands what I am about to write. Agent LD aint it? The trip to Niknogajaksliha and the koala bear hunting, not to mention shooting down the volcano blockers.. LOL.. Here is one guy who can have you in splits instantly~~ Three cheers to LD!

I think I've covered most part of it, if I've left anyone out, will add them later :D

Adios!~

Two things I didn't like about the post:

The part about my handwriting and the one about my cycle. You are gonna pay for this.

Welcome back btw..
